34 But he said to her, “Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace and be well from your suffering.”

35 While[a] he was still speaking, they came from the synagogue ruler’s house[b] saying, “Your daughter has died. Why trouble the Teacher further?” 36 But Jesus, ignoring[c] what was said,[d] told the ruler of the synagogue, “Do not be afraid—only believe!”
